Chanhassen Winter Camp for Kids Set for Jan. 15

If your child enjoys summer camps, Chanhassen offers an adventurous winter camp they may like.

According to the city’s website, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Jan. 15, 2018 at the Chanhassen Recreation Center, instructors will lead camp-goers through creative indoor and outdoor activities with plenty of warm-up time between. The outdoor excursions include snowshoeing, outdoor cooking, and shelter building.

The camp is offered in partnership with Chanhassen Parks Department and Carver County Parks, and costs $50 for residents and $60 for nonresidents.

Campers should come prepared with lunch, water bottle, warm layered clothing, boots, and indoor shoes, the city says. To learn more or register for the camp, click here.
