Ranked 4th as One of America’s Best Small Towns to Live
Did you know? Chanhassen was ranked 4th out of 50 small towns, by Money magazine, as one of the best places to live! Although, we all know the housing market took a big drop a few years back, Chanhassen hung in strong and bounced back even better.
Local jobs were kept intact, since big corporations such as Target headquarters and General Mills house a lot of this state’s employees. Minnesota is home to many job opportunities, making house buying an obtainable goal in this area.
According to Money, the area school district recently provided $700,000 in grants for classroom technology projects, and is now rolling out Wi-Fi on all school buses! In addition, Chanhassen’s commuter options have become accessible to everyone, making it easier to get to work.
Chanhassen is home to 34 parks, 90 miles of trails, and even a 1,137-acre Minnesota Landscape Arboretum! Activities are abundant in this small, busy town including: ice fishing contests, sledding, and cookouts during the winter months.
