Paisley Park to Sell Alcohol During Super Bowl
Prince’s Paisley Park, which is now a popular tourist attraction, was recently given the green light to sell alcohol during Super Bowl week.
According to the City Pages, the Chanhassen City Council unanimously approved the temporary liquor license for Prince’s former studio/concert/living space from Jan. 29 through Feb. 5, which coincides with the week of Super Bowl festivities coming to the Twin Cities.
Graceland Holdings, which operates the Prince-themed museum and memorial applied for the license in November, the report said, and requested that the venue be allowed to have a maximum of 1,000 nightly guests at events between 7 p.m. and 1 a.m. during the permitted dates.
