Chanhassen’s 4th of July Celebration Kicks Off July 2

Chanhassen’s annual 4th of July Celebration will officially kick of July 2 with Family Night and end with spectacular fireworks on July 4.

Here are some event highlights for each day of the event:

July 2 – Family Night at the Carnival (3-10 p.m.)

  • 3-8 p.m.: $2 carnival rides

July 3 – (10 a.m. to 11 p.m.)

  • 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.:Minnesota Twins Baseball and Softball Clinics at Chanhassen High School. Ages 2-9 will participate in the 10-11:30 a.m. slot, and those ages 10-16 will take the 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. spot.
  • 4:30 p.m.Taste of Chanhssen, Rotary Beer & Wine Garden and live music gets started.
  • 7-11 p.m.: Street Dance featuring CasaBlanca Orchestra

July 4 – (7 a.m. to 10 p.m.)

  • 7 a.m.: Adult fishing contest
  • 11 a.m.: Medallion Hunt (Lake Ann Concession Stand)
  • 2:30 p.m.: Parade in downtown Chanhassen
  • 10 p.m.: Fireworks!
