Chanhassen Girl Scout Helps Trail Users Find Their Way
Folks walking and hiking along three of Chanhassen’s most popular paths now have signs showing them to guide them along the way.
According to the Chanhassen Villager, Lauren Dale, a 17-year-old Girl Scout, created the Chanhassen Trail Way finding signage for Lake Ann, Lake Susan and the Chanhassen Nature Preserve. She made the signs for her Girl Scout Gold Award, as well as her capstone project at Chanhassen High School.
Lauren worked with the city’s Park and Recreation Commission and the City Council to get the signs put up, the article said.
