Arboretum to Host Winter Farmers Market
The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is teaming up with the Excelsior Farmers Market to host an indoor winter farmers market from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29 in the Arboretum’s Oswald Visitor Center.
According to the Chanhassen Villager, shoppers will be able to pick up locally produced food items and gifts, such as meats, cheeses, honey, coffee, baked goods, soaps and jewelry. In addition, the Arboretum’s Executive Chef Scott Pampuch will do a chef’s demo and the Arboretum Restaurant will feature a “farmer’s market lunch special,” the newspaper said.
The event coincides with the Arboretum’s “Making Spirits Bright” holiday series, which features a 25-foot live Poinsettia Tree and other decorated trees. Making Spirits Bright runs from Nov. 28 through Jan. 4, and features a variety of other activities and entertainment opportunities.
Other winter farmers markets events at the Arboretum are set for Saturdays, Jan. 3 and Feb. 14. To learn more about the Making Spirits Bright event, click here.
